Review | Sattva Ayurveda - Brahmi - Herbal hair mask | beautycourier.nl

sattva ayurveda brahmi herbal hair mask

Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri), also called the herb of grace is the traditional Ayurvedic herb that has multiple skin and health care benefits. It does also wonders for scalp and hair care. Thanks to the Shamanka.nl shop I could test out this Sattva Ayurveda Brahmi herbal hair mask. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀
This Sattva Ayurveda Brahmi hair mask consists of 100% Brahmi powder. The Brahmi powder is well known for its soothing and nourishing properties. More than that, Brahmi stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀

⚠️ Be aware that this is a herb, and it can cause some unwanted allergic reactions and/or irritations. Do a patch test beforehand and make sure that you are not allergic. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀

How to use it? Just mix a few spoons of powder with some (rose) water. I like to add a few drops of my favorite oils too. Apply on the wet scalp for 15-20 minutes then wash off. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The 100g packaging was enough for 4-5 treatments once a week. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The results are really impressive. My scalp is pleasantly nourished, flake, and irritations free. The hair loss is reduced. I have noticed that the new hair is growing stronger and visibly thicker. Remember that consistency is the key, only then you can get satisfying results. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The Brahmi powder has a typical herbal, muddy scent which you can smell even after washing it off so keep that in your mind. Also, I do recommend a hair mask treatment afterward because hair could be a little bit stiff. The Brahmi powder doesn't change the hair color. ⠀

Even though Brahmi is the natural herb well known in Ayurvedic medicine it should not be used while being pregnant, even topical as no scientific studies are confirming if it's safe for pregnant women or not.⠀

The Brahmi powder is available through Shamanka.nl (click here)  and it's worth giving it a try as it's extremely affordable - €4.99/100g. ⠀⠀
