Review | Benton - Let's Carrot Multi Oil

BENTON CARROT OIL

Thanks to the Benton Cosmetic I was able to test this new Let's Carrot multi oil based on German carrot extract.

The key ingredients are:

  • carrot seed oil
  • carrot root extract
  • beta carotene
  • vegetable oil
  • tocopherol (vitamin E)

It can be used not only on the face but also on hair and body as well. We can mix it with:
  • our regular face cleanser
  • with shampoo for scalp moisture and frizz prevention
  • we can even apply it on hair ends to protect them from heat
  • or we can even use it as a makeup primer for dewy effect
  • ...and so on! Multi care from head to toe.

Benton Let's Carrot Multi Oil - my thoughts:

Face: What I have noticed is that the oil improved my skin tone - thanks to the beta carotene. It feels very lightweight, absorbs quickly and is not sticky. Skin is glowing, it is smooth and vital. Recently I have had a rosacea flare-up, mostly on my cheeks and around my nose area. The Benton Let's Carrot oil reduced the redness and calmed my skin. I will keep on using it while next flare-ups.

Make-up: I am a huge fan of dewy effect so I have tried to use it as a makeup primer. It indeed gave me a dewy effect but I have noticed that my bb cream and concealer oxidized and changed color in the result. This is usually not happening so I was surprised. I have tried it with different cosmetics and still, the same thing happened. That is why I can not recommend using it as a primer or in the AM routine if you are planning to apply the makeup later on.

Hair: I am using a few drops of the oil on my towel-dried hair to protect them from the heat and damage. I have noticed less frizz and it gives a nice shine. It does not weigh down the hair.

Cuticles and nails: Works well as a cuticle moisturizer and it makes my nails shiny. Also, I have added a few drops of oil to my regular hand cream and it works so fine!

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It contains more than 99% naturally derived ingredients, it is free from artificial colors and fragrances and it is free from PEGs.

Once again I would like to say thank you to Benton Cosmetic for the opportunity of testing the Let's Carrot Oil. What do you think about this one? Let me know!
